7.80 40 minutes HOI is admitted to hospital. YIN asks him whether he has been beaten up by triad members. ANTHRAX complains that YIN has threatened him. SUM summons YIN to go to his office to tell him this. Unwilling to see SUM treating HOI unfairly, YIN tells SUM HOI used to be an undercover. SUM makes use of his mind-reading skill to test whether HOI is lying. He then goes to see a retired cop called TIN-WING, who HOI said was his supervisor in the past. WING says HOI has never been an undercover. YING is upset to see HEI going out with a young lady of note. HEI announces his resignation, as his girlfriend has found him a well-paid job. WING, severely injured, runs out from a back-alley then faints. SUM concludes that HOI has not lied after quizzing him.
