Gangadhar Rao is sure that the girl is Laxmibai and begins to search for her. Spears sees Gangadhar and asks his soldiers to follow him. Sakhubai reveals to Jankibai that she has informed Spears that Gangadhar Rao is searching for Laxmibai in Datiya. Sakhubai conspires to kill Gangadhar with Spears' help. Raghunath follows Laxmibai and gets attacked. The hired assassins of the British, disguise as Gangadhar soldiers and attack him. Laxmibai reaches there on time and saves Gangadhar's life. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that Jhansi is awaiting its queen. Laxmibai says that he will also have to accept her as Kranti Guru because it is her duty to fight against the British. Gangadhar Rao remains silent. Therefore, she leaves from there.
