Devastated, Salapee cut ties with Gamlai, who was forced to leave home. Salapee later had a daughter, Pai, whom Loy took to the countryside, where he eventually married Gamlai. Pai grew up strong and tomboyish due to her harsh upbringing. Meanwhile, Wimarn, fleeing his wedding, meets Pai and falls in love at first sight.
