Jong-soo, the son of a Korean-Vietnamese family, is still learning to speak Korean. His classmate Ji-hee, who has always loved writing poetry, helps him with his diary, Korean homework, and dictation. When Ji-Hee moves to Seoul, Jong-Soo wants to give her a poem as a parting gift, but it's not easy. Unsure, he goes to a stationery store to buy Ji-hee's favorite kraft paper, where he meets her and accidentally learns poetry from her.
